Grid Computing
• Grid Computing utilized a network or group of computers for making
computing resources like super computers, and perform large complex
problems and task over it.
• Unused computing power of many computers are used to perform
computing problems using Grid Computing.
• Geographical discrete system is utilized in Grid Computing.
• Communicate through network.
Grid Computing
• When clusters are geographically connected we can say Grid
• Network of computers present at different geographic locations
• Systems may fall under administrative domain
• No outsourcing of infrastructure
Grid Computing Benefits
• Computer resources are utilized in a more efficient way
• Achieve high computing power
• Resources can be shared
Architecture of Cloud Computing
Reliability
• Reliability is described by the likelihood of failure based on actual
measurement.
Reliability Requirements

Cost Considerations
• Number of instance
• Bandwidth requirements between sites
• Complexity of software
• Monitoring
Need
• User experience
• Customer requirements
• Negative Publicity
