• 1. TEACHER MOVEMENT – I always move around the class while teaching,
never sit or stand in static motion.
• 2. FOCUSING – I usually use verbal focusing in my class where I use phrases
like look at diagram or picture above the page, listen to this carefully, look at
the board and so on. And as for gesture focusing, I will point my fingers to
certain places or parts of the book I need my students to look at.
• 3. GESTURE – I nod to my students to give encouragement
• 4. VARYING SPEECH PATTERN – I usually vary my speech tone. I use different
tone when I am speaking to them casually, give instructions or act out a
conversation or a play.
• 5. PUPILS VERBAL PARTICIPATION/INTERACTION STYLE – I always ask them
question to attract their attention and the students usually ask me question to
get clarification.

4. REINFORCEMENT
• A type of conditioning in which reward or punishment reinforces the nehavior.
• 1) Positive reinforcement
> adding something in order to increase a response.
>eg : give reward when pupils can answer question or behave in class (receiver and give)
• 2) Negative reinforcement
> taking or withhold something away in order to increase a response or behaviour.
> eg : in traditional classroom setting, when the students listen quietly to the lesson, reward them by cancelling
the homework for that night.
• 3) Positive punishment
> a form of behaviour modification (does not refer to something pleasant)
> eg : writing (student is obligated to write the same sentence over and over, or write an essay.
• 4) Negative punishment
> teacher taking something away so that the unwanted behaviour is decreased.
> eg : a student always disrupt the class during learning process, so the teacher take 20 minutes of the student
recess time to stop the disruption in future.
6. USE OF RESOURSES AND TEACHING
MATERIALS
• Teaching Learning Materials are important for the teachers in teaching the lesson effectively as it help to
a better interpretation and lesson delivery.
• It increases knowledge of the students, arouses interest and enriches the imagination and thinking skill
of the student.
• As a result, the students will learn faster, remember longer and gain more accurate information.
• For example:
>teacher shows some flashcard or pictures of the topic.
>teacher uses projector to show some video for a a better understanding.
>teacher uses speaker to increase the students’ listening skill.

• Getting each students to take part of each activities can be time consuming.
• The other students may not focus after they have get involved in the activity.

The strength that i can see throughout the microteaching are the students can engage with
the teacher and the students can increase their confidence as well.

2. If you were one of the students in the class, what did you feel about the class learning?

If I am the one of the students in the class, i will enjoy the learning very much.

The materials that are used by the teacher are flashcards, plastic
toys and spinner.
