About Aarong

Aarong is one of the best retail chains in 


Bangladesh operating under BRAC. The
Organization was established in 1978. Aarong
operates production units in rural and semi-
urban areas as a part of its social enterprise
model .

Aarong – Bengali for ‘village fair’ – is Bangladesh’s


most popular lifestyle retail chain. Today, with 20
retail stores across Bangladesh and over 100
fashion and lifestyle product lines, Aarong
supports 65,000 artisans with fair terms of trade.
