Started in 1987 under the guidance of Mr. Rajeev Singh Duggal,JMT

AUTO formerly known as Jamshedpur Metal Treat ltd is one of the
leading auto component manufacturers in the eastern region with 3
manufacturing facilities in jamshedpur,dharwad & lucknow

JMT recognized production of Auto components as a core competency

and now produces around 1200 auto components. It has diversified
over the years in terms of technology and world class capabilities.

• Engine components – Cam Shaft Gear, Crank Shaft Gear, FIP, Gear 2W,
Gear ACC Drive.

• Gear components – Speed Gear, Over Drive Gear, Reverse Gear,

Reverse Idle Gear.

• Axle components – Assy Coupling Flange, Input Shaft, RA Shaft,

Shifter Fork, Helical Gear.

• Evacuator components – Spindle, Carrier, Bearing, Gear Casing, Planet

Wheel, Pin Assy.

• Other components – Seat Valve, FracValve, E-Pin, Assy Flywheel,

Shaft, Motor Drive Shaft
 PLANT LOCATION
Plant location is decided considering various factors.
The Plant location of JMT Auto helps its production facility in many
ways and we can say that the plant is well-placed and JMT takes
advantage of various factors due to its plant location,
for the following reasons.
• The plant is located at an industrial area in Jamshedpur surrounded
by 250 manufacturing companies
• It is located on a land that belongs to AIADA which is an
organization that is responsible for electricity supply.
• River Subarnarekha flows in close proximity to the plant
• TATA motors is just 7kms away from the plant
• TATA Nagar railway station is very near to the plant
PLANT LAYOUT
 QUALITY
JMT is the first company to receive an AS 9100 Certification i.e. for
aerospace parts.
Its quest for quality goes even further it has been awarded the TS
16949 Certification and has implemented Six Sigma.

QUALITY CHECK
Vendor rating shall be done once in a months for specified pre-
machining suppliers and once in six months for other vendors
supplying production development and maintenance materials.
Over all vendor rating for the Sub-contractor of pre-machining items
must be as follows:-

Acceptance criteria is as follows:-

• 95.0 to 100% Excellent

• 90.0 to 94.99% Good

• 80.0 to 89.99% Average

• Below 80.0% Poor
