Creating a Multi-paged

Document Part 2

Add Objects to Document
• Click on Insert Tab
• Now you can insert any object shown above.
• Simply click on any object, and select the
default options and that particular object will
be on the document.
Insert Picture
• Click on Picture object and search the image
file in Insert Picture dialog shown below,
select it and press INSERT button.
Change Image Setting
• Image Size
– Select the image, and Drag the circle or
square attached with the image to
change its size.
• Image Rotate
– Drag top Green circle to rotate the
image.
• Text Wrapping
– Right click on the image and Select Text
Wrapping and select option further to
set the image with text.
– Change option one by one to view its
effect.
Add Table
• Click on the Table object.
• Now select rows and columns shown on
the drop down to generate table.
• Click Tab to move from one cell to other.
• Right click on table, and select Insert
and select to add row (above/below) or
column (left/right).
• Right click on table, and select Delete
Cells and select delete entire
(row/column).
Header & Footer
• Header is used to write same text on the top of all
the pages in the document, whereas
• Footer is used to write same text on the bottom of
all the pages.
• Page Number is used to insert page number on
top or bottom of the page.
• Click on Insert Tab, and select Header or Footer or
Page Number, and select the option from the drop
down to add that object.
• Double click on Header/Footer to edit it, and
double click page to exit from edit mode.
Assign Labels to Images/Tables
• Set the position of image/table.
• Now select Image/Table and
click on References Tab and
click on Insert Caption button.
• Now select options as need in
Caption dialog and press OK
button. Select Label as Table or
Image as Object type.
• Now write the label in box
shown on the document.
Create Table of Images/Tables
• Now put your cursor on
desired position.
• And click on the Insert Table
of Figures on References Tab.
• Click OK button to select
default settings on Table of
Figures dialog or change
caption label as per the
object.
