PROPOSED METHODOLOGY
Data for this research will be gathered from Cavite School of
Life, a private institution existing for sixteen years. Cavite School of Life has emerged as one of the top performing private schools in the said vicinity, hence the choice for the survey. Respondents of the study will be comprised of 104 High School students. PROPOSED METHODOLOGY
The study will utilize a descriptive correlational design to
investigate the association between the reading comprehension ability measured through a Likert scale and the dependent variable academic performance in English measured by a documentary analysis of their grade in the English subject from the 1st-3rd quarters respectively.
