 Continuamos con el avance de esta unidad, entramos a la tercera parte de esta unidad que se refiere a la conjugación gramatical
de los verbos regulares e irregulares en el tiempo pasado simple.

IRREGULAR VERBS REGULAR VERBS

SUBJECT VERB: WRITE (Escribir) SUBJECT VERB: PLAY (Jugar)

PRONOUNS PRONOUNS
I WROTE (Yo escribí) I PLAYED (Yo jugué)
YOU WROTE (Tú escribiste) YOU PLAYED (Tú jugaste)
SHE WROTE SHE PLAYED
HE WROTE HE PLAYED
IT WROTE IT PLAYED
WE WROTE WE PLAYED
YOU WROTE YOU PLAYED
THEY WROTE THEY PLAYED

 Como se observa en ambas conjugaciones el verbo mantiene la forma (forma del pasado) con los distintos pronombres sujeto

pero la interpretación que le damos irá acorde a la conjugación en el pasado.

GRAMMAR STRUCTURE
 Los elementos que contiene el pasado simple en la oración son:

IRREGULAR VERBS REGULAR VERBS

SUBJECT + VERB + COMPLEMENT SUBJECT + VERB + COMPLEMENT

(IN PAST) (D,ED,IED)

Examples:
 Gabriel García Marquez wrote I played soccer with my friends
“a hundred Years of loneliness” in 1965 seven months ago

 Exercise.- Write ten sentences in simple past tense (Escribe 10 oraciones en pasado
