    positive

    S + V2+ O
    S + TO BE (WAS/WERE)+ O

    eg. I bought a new bag


    She was my classmate.
    Negative
    S + did + not + v1 + O
    S + TO BE (WAS/WERE) + NOT +O

    eg. I did not bring my shoes


    She was not my classmate
    Interrogative
    • Did + S + V1 + O
    • To be + S + O
    E.g. Did you go to Bali?
    Was he a teacher?
