This document provides instructions for a project on cultural heritage and connections. Students are asked to research their family's cultural heritage by constructing a family tree and investigating when different cultures were present, what arts and customs existed at those times, and how cultures have influenced one another over time. Students will then create a presentation sharing their cultural heritage research. They will also design 2-3 pieces of artwork inspired by the theme of connections and influenced by the cultures in their family tree. Students will then create one of their artwork designs and analyze and evaluate their completed project.
