DEFINITION OF TERMS:
 Culture- is the way of life of a particular group of
people. It includes their ideas, customs and
behaviour: the way we speak, dress, cook, dance and
make music worship, do business, educate the young
, settle disputes and organise our culture.
 Ethnic group- is a group of people who have shared
ancestors,culture,language, history and often
religion and way of life.
 Custom- is a way of behaving and a belief that is set
over a long period of time.

 Heritage- is something that is handed down from the


past, such as the way we speak,eat,dress,dance and
worship and run our families and countries.
 Ancestor- is a person related to you by blood
who lived long ago.
