Responsibility of Manufacturers/Distributors in
effective disposal of used containers
 Collect the containers after use through agents.
 Keep a bin the shops separately for plastic containers.
 Provide incentive for those who collects the company’s containers and give it to
them
 Create the awareness in the society of waste containers.
 Contact the Municipality and request for curb side recycling.
 Responsibility of the Retail shops in helping
effective disposal of the used containers

 Suggest their customers to throw the containers on the right bin.

 Throw the waste in the BBMP waste collecting vehicle.
 If distributor does not hire a container collecting agency then hire one.
 Observation arising out of current method of
handling disposables at the retail point

 Segregate the wet and dry waste.

 Dumping the waste on BBMP waste collecting vehicle.
 Waste container collecting agency.
 Dispose all the glass containers to the manufacturers.
