Context
While many young
people nowadays find
difficulty, to a certain
degree, in answering
Jesus’ question, “Who do
you say that I am?”,
however, there are still a
great number among
their peers who can give
a sound answer to this
question.
• In the Philippines,
there are still
institutions that
continue to provide
strong foundation
in order for the
young people to
have a sound
response to Jesus’
question
Experience
• If asked by Jesus, Who do you say I am? What
is your response to his question?
• Why is your image of Jesus such?
• What helps/hinders you in order that you are
able to respond to his question?
Let us summarize
• Young people’s image of Jesus is closer to
one’s personal journey of faith and how the
family and school has introduced who Jesus
Christ is. The Church where one belongs has a
huge role played in validating and sustaining
this image of Jesus Christ that the person
possesses.
What is your response to this
question of Jesus?
Reflection Question:
• What is my personal image of Jesus Christ?
• What are factors and realities that affected
my view of who Jesus?
• What are ways I can do to be able to answer
His questions accurately?
Action

• Write a short poem about your personal

response to Jesus’ question.
