or in a particular area of activity.
• OPINION

- It is a view or judgment formed about


something,
- Not necessarily based on facts or
knowledge.

- Telling about an event as it happens.


- It is straightforward.
- The information is accurate and
unbiased manner.
2. FEATURE STORIES

- A detailed form of something interesting.


- It is described as “soft news” and does not
deliver firsthand news.
- It is a recap major news that was reported
previously.
3. INVESTIGATIVE STORIES

- Stories that uncover information that only


few people knew.
- About serious crimes, political corruption
and corporate wrongdoing.
- Accurate presentation of facts.

publication’s opinion.
- Editorial writers build on an argument
and try to persuade readers to think the
