• IT REFERS TO THE RENDERING OF SERVICES OF SERVICES BY A
WORKER TO AN EMPLOYER.
WHAT IS LAW
• BY BLACKS LAW DICTIONARY
• SYSTEM OF PRINCIPLES OR RULES THAT REGULATE HUMAN
CONDUCT.

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, SOCIAL SECURITY AND WELFARE OF
PERSONS EMPLOYED IN INDUSTRIES.

• IT IS A BODY OF RULES AND REGULATIONS THAT REGULATES THE
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PARTIES OF EMPLOYMENT.
• IT IS A LAW MADE BY PARLIAMENT TO REGULATE EMPLOYMENT IN
BOTSWANA.
• IT IS A BODY OF RULINGS PERTAINING TO WORKING PEOPLE AND THEIR
ORGANIZATIONS, INCLUDING TRADE UNIONS AND EMPLOYEE UNIONS,
ENFORCED BY GOVERNMENT AGENCIES.
• IT IS A LAW RELATING TO THE RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF
WORKERS AND EMPLOYERS.
