I. OBJECTIVES
• At the end of the lesson, the students should be
able to:

A. Identify personal protective equipment in a


laboratory
B. Give examples of common PPE in a laboratory
C. Realize the consequences of not wearing PPE in a
Laboratory
D. Labels all the PPE equipment's in an laboratory
II. Subject matter
• Topic: Personal Protective Equipment's
• Materials: Pictures of PPE, Computer,
Projector, Speaker, PowerPoint, Video

III. Procedure
• Activity : Video Presentation about Safety Pre-
caution
• Analysis :
1. What happen to the person in the video?
2. What do you think is the reason why that incident happened?
3. If the person has a protection or protective equipment, do you
think such accident would be prevented?
4.Do you think PPE can help us prevent and avoid accidents?
III. Procedure
• Abstraction:
• (Discussion Method using powerpoint presentation.)
• Discuss what static electricity is
• Ask student if they are familiar the word Personal Protective
Equipment or PPE.
• Discuss what is PPE and what is its for?
• Ask students of common PPE and in the computer laboratory.
• Discuss examples provided by the students.
• Provide other examples like rubber mat, anti-static wrist band.
• Explain how these examples works and how do they protect us
• Explain the importance of PPE in a laboratory
III. Procedure
• Application: Activity called “Bring me”
• Divide the class into two: girls and boys.
Bring many as you can of a PPE equipment and
