COMPARE and CONTRAST
are ways of looking at objects
and thinking about how they
are alike and different.
SIMILARITIES and DIFFERENCES
are two main reasons that people use
for comparison and contrast.
VENN DIAGRAM is a graphic organizer that is made up of two
or three overlapping circles used to visualize the relationship
between two or three sets.

It is a great way to organize your thoughts

when you are comparing and contrasting two
things.
In the middle you put how the two objects are
alike. On the sides, you put how the objects are
different.
COMPARE

differences of the new video game systems. (Short bond paper)

GAMING NEWS
Two new video game systems have been released this week: the GameStation 4 and
the PocketPlay. The main difference between the two devices is that the PocketPlay
is portable. The GameStation 4 is designed to be played at home as it needs to be
plugged into a TV, whereas the PocketPlay can be carried around to play on the go.
Both are powerful devices, however the GameStation 4 offers more memory which
means better graphics. Unlike the GameStation 4, the PocketPlay is available in
different colors. The GameStation 4 is able to connect to the internet so you can play
against your friends all over the world. Similarly, the PocketPlay offers online play.
The GameStation 4 already has a huge library of 32 games and it will play all of
your favorite DVDs. In contrast, the PocketPlay has a smaller library and doesn’t
play DVDs.
