 An extensive literature search was conducted
using the academic database Web of
Knowledge as well as Google Scholar.

  In terms of usage 55% of youths used

METHODOLOGY
 The principle aim of this paper is to
investigate and evaluate the use of Social
Networking.
 We used the
survey(primary source)
as well as the secondary
data to do this project.
 Sample for survey was 30 people, among these
some were from SIES College and some were
from outside.

 From survey –facebook mostly liked by
students then comes “twitter” ,“orkut”,
“myspace”.
 The daily users of sns have no trust on
these sites but still are in touch with it.
 The main purpose of using these sites is
to be in touch with their friends and
make new friends.

 SNS sites are also used for purchasing
products online.
 Everyone gets frustrated when their
SNS sites do not operate.
 The people don’t feel themselves
changed through these sites.
 Mostly students or teenagers use these
social networking sites for longer time.
SUGGESTIONS

 Use cautions when you click links.


 Know what you’ve posted about yourself


 Don’t trust that a message is really from who it
says its from.


 Be selective about who you accept as a friend on
a social networking sites.


 Talk to your kids about social networking.

 Be careful about installing extras on your
“SNS” sites.


 Assume that everything you put on a social
networking sites is permanent or safe.


 Choose your social networking sites carefully.


 Think twice before you use social networking
sites at work.
