5. Proper Bearing of Posture
Good posture involves training your
body to stand, walk, sit and lie in
positions where the least strain is
placed on supporting muscles and
ligaments during movement or weight
activities.

chest out and chin up, it is
assured that you are already
observing proper posture.

Illness and diseases make us weak
physically and intellectually unhealthy.
This may cause us to under perform or
become unproductive.

alcohol, tattoo, piercing, etc …)

they help maintain our body’s
wellness such that:
CARBOHYDRATES
a. Carbohydrates provide our body with
energy.
Carbohydrates are the sugars, starches and
fibers found in fruits, grains, vegetables and
milk products. Though often maligned in
trendy diets, carbohydrates — one of the
basic food groups — are important to a
healthy diet
B. Protein- repair body cells and tissues
Protein is a macronutrient that is essential
to building muscle mass. It is commonly
found in animal products, though is also
present in other sources, such as nuts and
legumes.
Vitamins
a. Vitamins – help regulates body functions
Fats
• Fats- source of energy for vitamin storage and
body insulation
• Fats, just like protein and carbohydrates, your
body needs some fat for energy, to absorb
vitamins, and to protect your heart and brain
health.
• For years we've been told that eating fat will
add inches to your waistline, raise cholesterol,
and cause a countless of health problems.
E. MINERALS- strengthen muscles, bones and
teeth, enrich the blood and keep the heart and
other organs healthy
• F. Water keeps 60% of an adult’s total body
weight. It helps break down food, carries
nutrients throughout the body, removes
wastes and maintain a stable body
temperature.
