Commerce Graduate
Responsible for the overall management of the company.
Extensive experience of 24 years and knowledge in the overall business management, manufacturing and factory administration. Also has experience in household
insecticides and coated metal operations of the company.

Mr. Karan Agrawal - 30 years (Executive Director)

Completed his Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management from IIM in, Bangalore in 2013 and Bachelor of Business Management (Finance) from CMS,
Bangalore in 2007.
With over 11 years of experience, looks after the overall affairs of the Company at the corporate level. He is also spearheading the investments and backward integration
projects for the company.
Along with this he is also the Managing Director of Manaksia International FZE, UAE which is the trading arm of Manaksia India which is mainly into trading of Agri-
commodities and metals.

Mr. Anirudha Agrawal - 27 years (Whole time director)

Commerce Graduate and Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
3 years of hands-on experience in administration of manufacturing rolled aluminum products.

Company Secretary and Chief Law Officer of BHEL for six years. He was the Head of Finance of BHEL for five years and has also served in the capacity of the Executive Director of BHEL

Master degree in Science and is a Doctorate in Anthropology from the Calcutta University.
Professor and dean of the MBA programme at the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management under Calcutta University for fifteen (15) years. Coordinated various projects of
the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank.

Ms. Smita Khaitan - 65 years (Independent Director)

Bachelor of Law degree from the Calcutta University.
Worked as an associate with M/s Rajesh Khaitan & Co., Advocates & Solicitors from 1976 to 2003 before branching out on her own since 2004. During her legal career she has represented
clients before the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Calcutta and various district courts.

Mr. Mahabir Prasad Agrawal- Independent Director

Founding Member of Manaksia Group, he has over 50 years of experience in fields of commerce, finance, taxation, manufacturing, trading etc. He is a Commerce Graduate from
St Xaviers College, Kolkata.

Mr. Sunil Kumar Agrawal - Independent Director

He has over 30 years of experience in manufacturing and commerical aspects of business. He is the Managing Director of Manaksia Aluminium Limited and he is a commerce graduate from

•The unit is located at Village Chandrani, Anjar Dist - Kutch, Gujarat

•Two major ports Mundra and Kandla one of the biggest ports in India are at a distance of 70km and
50km respectively which give the plant great connectivity to sea routes.
•The Bhuj-Bhachau Highway which provides excellent road connectivity to the rest of India is only
5kms away from the plant.
•Majority of the company’s products are transported via sea route both locally and globally.
•This ensure faster movement of goods and also helps to control the transportation cost of the company.
•The company has a very strong presence in the Southern and Western markets of India and its

Pre-painted Steel
• Colorful, aesthetic, formable, cost effective, and formidable in strength having multiple applications,
coils / sheets are made from the best quality cold rolled steel coils, which are coated with protective
metallic coating and multiple layers of organic coatings.
Continuous Coil Coating Line
• A most advanced state-of-the-art continuous coil coating line is used to produce the pre-painted
range.
• It involves unwinding of skin-passed Galvanized coils, cleaning / brushing, rinsing, degreasing,
chemical pre-treatment consisting of surface conditioning, conversion coating, chromating and
drying.
• The treated strip surface is then coated with three layers of organic coatings: Primer, Top
coat and Back coat in three-stage roll-coating stations and is oven-cured at each stage.
• One major advantage of this process line is its flexibility which allows it to be used for other coats like
SMP, SDP, PVDF and Lamination in addition to Regular Modified Polyesters.
• The line also has the facility to laminate different designs of film on steel surface, after primary
coating.

Continuous Color Coating
• Colour Coating is a two coat bake process that involves two steps of coating and baking after the sheet has
undergone pre-treatment.
• The coating line has advanced S shape coating system to ensure uniform thickness. The highly
advanced technique used by the company ensures that coating firmly adheres to the base metal and does not
peel off during rolling and bending .
• Within the plant a specific area is earmarked which is primarily used for slitting & cutting of coils as per the
customer requirements and also by delivering sheets/ coils to customer specifications thereby increasing
efficiency and reducing wastage.

Manufacturing Facility
•The company has backward integrated by setting up a facility for manufacturing of value added galvanized steel
products. Its continuous non ox type hot-dip galvanizing line is fully automated and computer controlled. Zinc
coating is meticulously controlled by the use of special air knives, which facilitate uniform coating thickness and
controlled spangles. This line has facilities for tension leveling, skin-passing , thin organic coating and controlled
oiling.
Galvanized Plain Products (GP)
• To avoid any corrosion and white rust formation and to retain shine and gleam, surface treatment is
done using a specially formulated passivation. Manaksia caters to a wide range of thickness and width in form of
coils and sheets.
Galvanized Corrugated Products (GC)
• The company supplies Galvanized Corrugated (GC) sheets to specific customer requirements.

MOSQUITO COILS
•Manaksia is one of the biggest multi-faceted manufacturer of Mosquito Coils in South-East Asia in terms of
aggregated production capacity of all units.
•The company also undertakes contract manufacturing for brands like Mortein.
•It also sells mosquito coils under its own brand called “Mansa”.
Manufacturing
• The company is manufacturing best quality Mosquito Repellent Coils for a renowned MNC and also for other big
national companies in its factories at major cities in India like Bankura, Guwahati, Hyderabad and Bhopal.
• It manufacture Green, Red and Low Smoke Black Mosquito Coils fulfilling required specifications in various shapes and
compact packaging.
• It also manufactures various forms of repellents like mosquito liquid vaporiser, mosquito incense, mosquito paper card as well
as aerosol for mosquitoes and other crawling insects.
Raw Material
• Most of the raw materials are biodegradable and are bi-products and waste products of agro products and other
industrial processes.
Technology
• It uses automated hydraulic stamping machines with 120 ft. tunnel dryer and Thermic Fluid Heating system.
• Such technology helps it to improve quality standards and reduce costs drastically, while making the production process
more eco friendly, by reducing fuel and energy consumption.
Mosquito Stand
• It is made out of electrolytically coated tinplate, the product requires accurate press operation and the use of multi-
activity tools for its manufacture.
• The product is coated with special organic chemicals to ensure resistance to corrosion, proper gloss and
good finish.
