• If at any time either/both Houses of Parliament
is not in session, President has power to issue
Ordinance
Priviliges
• Not answerable to any court of law for the exercise of
his functions
• He can not be arrested nor any criminal proceedings can
be instituted against him in court of law during his
tenure.
• A prior notice of two months time is to be served before
instituting a civil case against him
