terlibat dalam peristiwa tersebut; tempat peristiwa
terjadi; dan lain-lain.
• Resource of Information [Source] : Sumber berita;
komentar para saksi; pendapat para ahli; dan lain-
lain.
 FEATURES
1. Bahasanya singkat padat.
2. Sering menggunakan action verbs: write,
speak, explain, etc.
3. Dominan menggunakan saying verbs:
stated, said, cited, reported, inform, etc.
4. Banyak menggunakan adverb of time,
adverb of place, adverb of manner:
yesterday, in the hospital, firmly, etc.
 EXAMPLES
President Joko Widodo visited the site camp
of the sea flood’s victims in Eretan Wetan
yesterday afternoon (1). Presidents said that
local government must help the victims by
providing them food and other facilities (2).
The victims said that they have been in the
camp for three days (3). Many local people
also visited the camp and donate a lot of
instant food, blankets, baby food, and
drinking water (4).
