the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Spirit, Amen. As we celebrate the 18th birthday of
Wishka Almerol, let’s start the prayer service with
our opening song.
Opening SongHere I am Lord
I, who made the stars of night
I, the Lord of sea and sky
I will make their darkness bright
I have heard my people cry
Chorus:
All who dwell in dark and sin
Purihin ang Panginoon,
My hand will save
Umawit ng kagalakan,
At tugtugin ang gitara
Chorus
At ang kaaya-ayang lira.
Here I am, Lord. Is it I Lord?
Hipan ninyo ang trumpeta.
I have heard you calling in the night
I will go, Lord, if you lead me
I will hold your people in my heart
Opening Prayer
Heavenly Father, we thank you for this wonderful day. As
we celebrate the 18th birthday of our beloved sister... –one God
forever and ever.

Amen.
for one another, You call us out of self-centeredness
and apathy to truly become persons-for-others.
Because we are all unique yet equal in dignity in
Christ, Your Son, through whom we have been
created, redeemed and, made holy, You draw us to
the fullness of life. For this and our countless other
gifts, we thank You. Be with us today and remind us
of the immeasurable dignity with which You have
clothed and crowned us. Give us the grace to see
ourselves the way You see us. We ask You this,
through Your Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and
reigns with you and the Holy Spirit. One God
forever and ever. Amen.

Prayers of the Faithful

Lord, hear our prayer.

Prayers of the Faithful

Amen.
The Lord’s
Prayer
Christ saved us from sin and death to
become God’s sons and daughters. Let us
now say the prayer that expresses our true
dignity as God’s children, the prayer that
Jesus Himself taught us:
The Lord’s
Prayer
Our Father in heaven, holy be Your
name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day
our daily bread and forgive us our sins as we
forgive those who sin against us. Do not
bring us to the test, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Blessin
g
May the Lord bless us all in the name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Spirit.

Amen.

Final
Song
I will sing forever of Your love, O Lord
I will sing forever of Your love, O Lord
I will celebrate the wonder of Your name
For You are my refuge and my strength
For the word that You speak is a song of forgiveness
You fill the world with Your life-giving Spirit
And a song of gentle mercy and of peace
Who speaks Your word, Your word of mercy and of
Peace
Let us wake at the morning and be filled with Your love
And sing songs of praise all our days
Coda:
For Your love is as high as the heavens above us
And I will sing forever of your love, O Lord
And Your faithfulness as certain as the dawn
Yes I will sing forever of your love, O Lord
