    PERTEMUAN KE-8: CONDITIONAL

    SENTENCE
    Type 1 (Real in the future) Type 3 (Unreal in the past)
    If + Simple Present, Simple Future If + Past Perfect, S would have V3
    Example:
    Example: - If I had got a ticket yesterday, I would have gone to Bandung.
    - If I get a ticket tomorrow, I will go to Bandung.
    Simple Present Simple Future
    Past Perfect S would have V3

    Fact: I didn’t get a ticket yesterday, so I would not go to


    Type 2 (Unreal in the present/future) Bandung.

    If + Simple Past, S would V1 NOTE !


    Example:
    ‘be’ that is used in type 2 is only ‘were’
    - If I got a ticket today, I would go to Bandung.
    Simple Past S would V1

    Fact: I don’t get a ticket, so I will not go to


    Bandung.

    - If the weather were nice today, I would go fishing.


    Simple Past S would V1

    Fact: the weather is not nice today, so I won’t


    go fishing.
