 Links provided

 Go through the tasks and its requirement and make a quick

reference list of the information you need for the report.
 Quickly scan through the links provided without going too
much in detail.
 By now you may have some idea about the links and the parts
which are more useful for the specific parts of the report.
 Now go back to those specific part of the links, have some
thorough read of these parts and briefly put down the main
points on a word document in your own words. Just touching
upon the main points e.g. for “internal philosophies and ethical
standards” you may provide the main issues in bullet points
with a sentence or two on say Conflict of interests or measures
to protect customers from financial crimes etc.

 Some external links on the assessment may not be working

like, Westpac bank have moved the information on their
website.
 Accordingly the information on the new links or the
text/PDF itself for a particular link that is not working has
been updated under the tab “Assessments” (Screen shot on
see next slide)
 For e.g. for Part 3 of the Report, as the link on the
assessment is no longer working- for the broken link No.6,
the new link has been provided at the link as above.

 Google

 It is acceptable if you want to source the same information

by either Google search or the given links or the mix of two.
 So if it helps you to Google the task requirement with the
keyword on a particular fact of Westpac and go to the exact
link task-wise there is nothing stopping you as long as your
report reflects the correct information as per the task
requirements.
 Here just be sure you follow a credible source of
information like Westpac, ASIC or APRA etc. for the
information and not just from a blog.
 Word limit

 The word limit for the Part 1 to 3 is indicative and we wouldn’t

like you to go overboard in terms of length/depth in your
response.
 It would be enough if you touched upon all the responses as
required but brevity is required.
 Avoid copying and pasting any generic information as it would
affect your reports in terms of word limit and still not answer the
point.
 You would be alright if you are about 1,500 words for the first
three parts and don’t go too much over it.
 Report format

 Case Study: Parts 1 and 2 can be in one single report on a

word document in a Report format, and
 The Question 2: Memo can be done on a fresh page even as
part of the same document in the form of a Memo to your
colleague who was working with you and explored and
provided you with the information to be provided in the
report.
