WNG UE client :VIVO X20 UE configuration
In VIL project , ZTE planned to do SCFT/Cluster /Statics test
by WNG tool. We are currently using VIVO X20 Handset for
test. It’s support all the frequency Band in India currently
available by VIL.
Here we are showing UE handset configuration & APK file
for WNL & WNG.
• WNL (Wireless NW listener )
• WNG (Wireless NW Guardian)

WNL: –It is interface b/w WNG APK(UE end) & WNG cloud
server to sync each other for command task , Upload log file ,
photograph.

WNG: – It is used for Drive test tool ,to recording data ,Task
selection & all functionality test & upload data to server by UE
only.
 VIVO X20 UE WNL configuration

WNL – It is interface b/w WNG apk & WNG cloud server to sync both each other. Here we will upload photograph os site to cloud server.
Here we need to add Cloud server IP address to sync UE. And other end(Cloud server) also add UE to sync each other.
Cloud end UE will add by IMSI & Mobile no. More details will briefly later.
 VIVO X20 UE WNG configuration

WNG – It’s software used to perform SCFT/ Statics /Cluster drive test .
Here different window available to check setting , perform task assignment & observation of drive test .
 WNG configuration Summary Window:

Summary: Here we can check all the basic information of SCFT & site parameter i.g Lat long
Technology wise details RSRP,SINR, Tx power, RSCP, EcIo ,RX level, Rx qual SNR etc.. Also NW details
available like EARFCN, PCI,MCC ,MNC,PLMN..etc.
 WNG configuration Map & Message

Map :– Here all the sites visible & live position of UE also, we can check our site location & parameter of
sites.
Message : Here we can check all the Event message , Signaling ,chart & Tab view as per UE status i.g Idle &
Dedicated mode (Same like TEMS Investigation layer messages).
 WNG configuration Test

Test: – We are sending all task here, which we have to do in Drive test /Statics i.g ftpDL ,ftpUL, Call MO,
Call MT, Ping ,ATDT,SMS, Long call ,Short call, Idle .Http dl & Https ul etc .
We can edit any task by editor option i.g Add /delete /Modification .
Setting :-For example, FTP Download task select & check FTP DL setting . here we can modify it.
 WNG configuration Test

Test: – Here also we are showing different task setting , I g Ping ,call & SMS. We can modify IP address,
Number ,time out , ping byte, times ,duration etc. We can modify setting here as per requirement.

Tool: – Here WNG setting available ,which we are using Drive test to change Technology / frequency Band
& Idle test.
Business/Idle state: – We can change setting for Idle / business mode by select this option , when Business
state is enable (Green) means mobile data session is available .If Idle mode selected that time only mobile in
Idle state, data session will not work.

Lock Mode: WNG support technology wise lock mode option.

Lock Frequency: frequency lock Band option also available to lock particular /multiple band .

Station Photograph: – It is use to capture site Paranomic view, clutter picture , Tower ,building & Antenna

Speed Test: Function to use speed test by WNG.

WNG setting : – Here we can change setting of Color ,Indoor /outdoor & data management window to
check log file size.
 Drive Test Process: How to select Task

Task selection view: first Select file which we need to test , all test cases will assign by cloud server to
defined particular UE. As per technology wise drive test first lock technology by UE end.
Picture 2&3 shown:- Date wise folder automatically generated in WNG & inside the folder all task visible ,
which we have assigned to particular UE from cloud server..
 Drive Test Process: How to select Task

Here Task selected JAI3483G short call name coming in WNG & you can check site in Map also.
Now go to Test & select task which we have planned for SCFT/Cluster/Statics. We can modify task also.
 Log file & Task (Start/Stop) process:

Start Recording & Task process: First click button of Record log file then go to test window & start task .
Now log file recording start & do SCFT /Cluster/Statics test.
Stop Log file: After finish round of SCFT/statics /Cluster drive , Stop task first then go to stop recording
option. Now stop log file message displayed , please select Ok. Same scenario should be applicable for
other task .
 How to Complete Task Process

After log file properly stop , log file saved in UE. Now we need to do complete task.
• Now click on 3dots option & new display will come, which have five option there. Please select task
complete option.
• Select File option will appear, please select date folder & task name. Now need to check task & click task
complete option. After Task complete message will display on WNG.
 Log file/Photo upload Process

After task complete finished , Need to upload log file in Cloud server by WNG option.
Upload log file: Please select upload file option then log file upload processing will display on screen.
After uploaded file message will display ”Data upload to complete”.
Same process will follow for all the drive test round .
Upload photo: We can upload site photo from here to cloud server for report preparation.
 Remove /Reset Task Process

Remove Task : If you want remove task please click here. The task automatically removed & show No task.

Reset Task : If any drive route or task have issue then we need to select this option to reset task, After
that “task & log file” both will be reset .And Previously log file replaced automatically.
 WNG Cloud Server

Each partner have their own User name& password to access cloud for task & report Generation.

After Login WNG cloud server as above screen will come.

 UE Manage “How to check status & manage UE in Cloud server”

There are 3 step: Status UE; Group Manage ; All UE list.

The WNG management platform manages all test UEs. Before performing UE management on the WNG
management platform, you need to register the test UE on the platform and allocate a number to this

Here we can check UE live status i.g Idle condition ,Test in progress, uploading data & offline etc .

 All UE: How to Add UE in WNG Cloud

There are two method to add UE in Cloud:

1.By Custom & 2 By Template

In this method we are filling all details by manually ,then import one by one.

Firstly Download template & fill all the excel column as per requirement then import file by chose file
ADD UE
selection.
 Task Manage

The WNG management platform can create one task or task group and set it to UE. Test items include
ping \ short message \ call \ FTP download \ FTP upload \ Http Upload \ Http Download \ Video \ VoLTE \
Attach \ Detach \ IDLE test and so on
 Map View

Here we can check live /Historical drive status & location of any UE in Google map, satellite
map, Baidu map & Normal Map support by WNG .

For Report generation we need follow some steps.

expert (In that file report automatically generate script).
Put Template Name & Type (SSV or Cluster) and after that technology which we are uploading template.

Report : Go to report & Generate report setting.

1. Report name: Please give report name so that report generate that name only.
2. Select Server: Don’t need to change server IP.
3. Generation method: Generate report at once.
4. Select template: Need to select which technology report output required (GSM/MTS/LTE).

Same scenario for CQT test (Statics test) also & choose template as requirement.

Test UEs – Pleases select UE by IMSI number/by Name, where task send for perform.
Now Task Para configuration – Please put task name to identify log file name ,site wise & task wise.
Finally start task option & check in UE to receive or not.
