ASSOCIATION(CARIFTA)
In 1973, CARIFTA became the
Caribbean Community Founded by Antigua and
(CARICOM). Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana,
and Trinidad and Tobago on On August, 1968 Montserrat
15 December 1965 and Jamaica joined.

Justice (CCJ) is the
Caribbean regional court
established on 14
February 2001.
• Settles disputes between
Caribbean Community
(CARICOM) member
states.
The CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) is an arrangement among the CARICOM Member States for the creation of a single
enlarged economic space through the removal of restrictions resulting in the free movement of goods, services, persons, capital and
technology
ROLES

CSME-The Caribbean Single Market and Economy (CSME) can


be listed with several other regional organizations worldwide
that have been established to promote regional cooperation on
political, economic and social issues.

The Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) settles disputes between


Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Member States, and also
serves as the highest court of appeals on civil and criminal
matters for the national courts of Barbados, Belize and Guyana.
The CCJ's seat is in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
CHOGM-is to advance international
cooperation and to advance
economics, social development, and
human rights in member countries.
