What is Input
 Input

• Input can be defined as Data or Instructions

device which is used to
control the movement of the
curser on the screen. The
mouse is also used to select
items on the screen.

The microphone is used to

capture sound data and send it
into the computer system.
 Digital Camera

The digital camera can be used to capture

still or moving images. These data can then
be transferred to the computer system.

Speakers are used to output
sound/audio to the user.

Moving Images.

This device is used to deliver or show
multimedia presentations (presentations in which
sounds, photos, video and text and other moving
graphics may be combined into interesting
effect).

Printers can be defined as a

output device that produces text
and graphics on a physical
medium
