    Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn (TTN) is a respiratory disorder that occurs in 40% of newborns within the first 3-5 days of life, especially in preterm and term infants. It is caused by an abnormality in sodium-potassium ATPase and ENaC function that leads to slow clearance of lung fluid and fluid retention in the lungs. Clinically, it presents as tachypnea, grunting, nasal flaring, retractions, and cyanosis within the first 6 hours of life, along with barrel chest, rales, hepatomegaly and splenomegaly. Chest x-rays show increased lung opacities that gradually clear.

    1. Takipnea segera/6 jam pertama kelahiran (RR >60x/menit
    hingga 100-120x/menit)
    2. Merintih, nafas cuping hidung, retraksi dan sianosis
    3. Barrel dada
    4. Ronkhi
    5. Hepar dan limpa teraba
    6. Tanda sepsis (-)
    7. Edema dan peristaltik usus menurun
    8. Takikardi dengan tekanan darah normal
    9. Status neurologis normal
