This hypothesis is tested for businesses, salaried persons, housewives, students and
children who use bottled water or open tap water. The questionnaire consists of 28
closed-ended questions to get accurate responses out of which 10 questions are
taken for analysis. The responses of the customers to each question is analyzed and
presented in a tabulated form.

SAMPLE SIZE:
In order to test the hypothesis accurately, a realistic and measurable
sample size of 235 respondents are taken

ANALYSIS: The analysis result shows that more than half of people are consuming
bottled water as compared to tap water. This is sign that bottled water is replacing tap
water gradually.
