Introduction To My Social Media Networking

Plan
Mission Statement

• “Cafe style talk for women to release what’s on their mind. Random discussions about life challenges
and goals. How to manage our days and ladies nights. A coffee shop, after work, happy hour, beauty
shop, tea talk style blog where ladies can be themselves.” Men are welcome to join in the talk as well.
Currently Active Social Medias
• Facebook - Social media platform where I am most active for a more personal and
engaging experience. Not for business or networking purposes, more likely a free
to be me for humor. Considering my social networking plan this concept might
change

• Instagram - Least active as far as activity but personal and not business associated
account
AUDIENCE

• Being active on current social media platforms help me with the knowledge of
audience and what they like. It teaches me how to engage with my followers and
their interests.

• The ideal market age or age group would typically be 35 and older although all
adult age is appropriate just given the specifics of topics they may not interest a
much younger group unless they are suitably mature to engage in the discussion or
for advice.
Content Is King: Quality over Quantity

• Content is what fuels social media so it is crucial that you consider high quality, engaging content as a top
priority (Davis, X). Brand images, videos, blog posts, news, ads, and recommendations are priority upkeeps on
the blog but I would hope to gain sponsorships as well to add validity to my brand. A content calendar would
come in handy as well because current and updated content matters as well.
Editorial Calendar

• A content calendar would come in

handy as far as schedule and time
availability. Upkeep with content and
when to engage on topics.

• Investing in a social media

management tool if possible would
help as well. Remember this is an
investment.
COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS

• Conduct a competitive analysis and research the competition

• Conduct comparative analysis of what attracts the mind’s of people

• Since I am not currently selling anything or running a business I want to focus on

the effectiveness of my blog on a social level engaging in topics and issues that
concern women and people in general. I could learn from other talk blogs that do
the same

• Learning and not competing is the key. Trying to get ahead of others may cause
failures along the way. Giving up easy isn’t an option
CONCLUSION

• Chat Corner Cafe is the name that I want my blog to live up to. A cafe style chat
room where the atmosphere is a cafe for talk. In most cafe’s the talk is just about
anything from lifestyle, after work, the trending buzz, news, etc. I also want
women to feel empowered in this chat fe’ because we have so many challenges
and issues in our lives that we feel the need to release our inner voice and be heard
amongst women all over who feel the same way. My schedule is very busy right
now and I am going to keep this Social Network Plan on my to do list for the next
6-9 months. I still have some planning and implementing to do but I am liking this
idea the more I work on it.
