6-month in-company experience in cooperation between TVET
college and local companies

Process Summary
•TVET graduates are selected by companies for a 6-months work experience and
provided with work-readiness soft skills training
•Allowance for graduates financed through TVET College
(Financing Agreement with GIZ-QEP)
•Coaching provided by sectoral focal person (both TVET College and Company)
•Continuous performance feedback from companies
•Work experience certificate provided by companies, possibility of follow-up
employment

•Lack of mentorship, supervisory follow-up on
side of TVET College
•Lack of on boarding, supervisory follow-up on
side of companies

•Covid-19 and its Consequences
•Conduct awareness workshop with IEPP coordination team at TVET college GIZ

•TVET college finance team manages the deployment of financial resources in TVET
accordance with GIZ financial regulations College
(Provide relevant documents of proof for the financial settlement processes,
administers disbursements of stipends)
•Companies provide work experience certificate or, ideally, employment contract Companies
after finalization of IEPP
