Hiperpigmentasi
kondisi bertambah gelap / meningkatnya warna kulit yg disebabkan oleh ↑ deposisi melanin
(hipermelanosis) di epidermis &/ di dermis akibat terjadinya peningkatan biosintesis & deposisi melanin

Berbagai penyakit kulit dengan proses inflamasi, obat2an maupun prosedur pengobatan/perawatan
kulit dapat menyebabkan terjadinya hiperpigmentasi pasca inflamasi

Diagnosis Banding Idiopathic atrophoderma of Pasini and Pierini (IAPP)
is a form of dermal atrophy that manifests as single
or multiple sharply demarcated, hyperpigmented,
non-indurated patches. These patches are marked
by a slight depression of the skin with an abrupt
edge, creating a "cliff-drop" border, and are usually
located on the backs of adolescents or young
adults. The lesions may be discrete or confluent.
The affected skin appears thinned and discolored,
but the consistency and feel of the affected skin
remains normal .

Erythema dyschromicum perstans (EDP), also known

as ashy dermatosis and dermatosis cenicienta, is a
benign, uncommon skin condition that presents with
generalized ashy-gray colored macules on the body.
Many consider this condition to be a variant of

lichen planus.
