BUSINESS IN KAHMANDU

Purpose of the study
i. To examine factors affecting online business.
ii. To determine the role of internet security and
payment service in online business.
iii. To analyze how advertisement and customer relation
affect online business in Kathmandu valley.
Significance of the study
i. This study identifies the importance of online
business in modern era.
ii. The findings of the study will help individual and
organization to know how online business is gaining
popularity.
iii. The study will be a reference for scholars and
researchers to conduct further similar research.
Research Methods
i. Research design (Descriptive )
ii. Population and sample (Kathmandu valley, 50)
iii. Sampling technique (Convenience sampling)
iv. Data collection procedure(Questionnaire
distribution)
v. Research tools (SPSS, descriptive ,correlation,
regression analysis)
Findings
The findings of the study are as follows :

i. Based on competition, online business provides fair practices.


ii. Based on advertisement, peoples purchasing decision is
highly affected by advertisement.
iii. Based on payment service, people give higher value in respect
to the security provided during payment
iv. Based on customer relation, people generally prefer such
online service which does its delivery on time.
v. Based on E-Revenue source, regularity of peoples purchase is
dependent on income.
Findings
v. Customers are well satisfied when the content of websites
is good enough.
vi. From the correlation analysis, it is found that there is
significant relationship between customer satisfaction
and its variables its variables (trust, online security,
website design )
vii. The model summary of regression has found that the fifty
six percent variations in factors affecting online business
is observed and explained by five independent variables.
viii. ANOVA analysis has found that the level of significance is
zero and model is fit.
Discussions
 People generally have the similar response in matter of
competition, advertisement, payment service, and
customer relation with regard to online business.
 This study is consistent with the theories reviewed.
Conclusions
i. The objectives of the study were to examine factors
affecting online business, to determine the role of
internet security and payment service in online
business, and to analyze how advertisement and
customer relation affect online business in
Kathmandu valley.
ii. The findings suggests the significant relationship
between the variables.
Action Implications
i. Online business has great potential in the aspect
that the world is adopting technology and internet
in fast pace
ii. . Online business can be the good source of income
for the people.
iii. There is one difficulty in country like Nepal that
every people are not literate enough to go for online
business
