A whistleblower is defined as someone who exposes


wrongdoing, fraud, corruption or mismanagement.

STEP 1: Understand the Context & Act

• What is unethical?
• Is it motivated by my or instigated by someone's
o काम (Physical Desires) 
o क्रोध (Anger)
o मद (Pride) 
o लोभ (Greed) 
o प्रतिशोध (Revenge)  
• Am I ignoring the holistic perspective of the context?
• Have I read/understood the relevant laws/guidelines which
are being violated in the act? Would this be a Vexatious
litigation ?

STEP 2: Ascertain your priorities

According to scriptures
बुद्ध (Antarman) -> धर्म (Family->Society)  -> संघ (Nation->
Company/Institution)  

What Employers preach:-


Company First  -> Nation Second -> Self Last

What Governments preach:-


Nation First-> Government Second -> Self Last

STEP 3: Ascertain Consequences


Possible negative consequences:-
• Public Attention (Intra-Company or outside) Are you ready
for that?Failure to hire or rehire
• Denial of benefits,overtime or promotion
• Reassignment affecting prospects for promotion
• Blacklisting, Firing or laying off
• Demoting, Disciplining
• Intimidation, Making threats
• Reducing pay or hours

STEP 4: Plan For Worst case Scenarios

• Study each consequence and review your preparedness


• Plug any deficiencies
• Gather sufficient legally defensible proofs to substantiate
your claim
• If you decide to quit at this stage reasoning yourself that
you would like to forgive then consider following:-

Boss's Boss ?
• Means: Print/Email/Blog/Notice/Phone Call/Video etc
