The secret of a happy marriage is finding the right person.

Wedding events celebrate important milestone in a couple’s life
together, and provide an opportunity for friends and relatives to
join in celebrating that milestone.
The wedding celebration includes having their vows with
the theme of Whimsical Wedding. This is may be quite a big
wedding with all the fancy detailed facets to coordinates Flowers,
Décor, Music and photography, as well as details of the reception.
We are very glad to organize the Dream Wedding of Mr.
and Ms. Calico as they celebrate their love and passion to last.
SWOT ANALYSIS

STRENGTH
•The Eventologist and his staff have planned, organized and coordinated 70
weddings; a good number of them were held at the Cathedral of St. John the
Baptist and Roz and Angelique’s Café.
•The checklist is made prior to the wedding date. Both the company and the
clients have their copies.
•Before the event is organized, proper planning and checking with suppliers are
achieved. Constant communication with clients and wedding vendors is in place.
•The works and the working ethics of the local wedding suppliers are at par with
those successful events management companies in the city.
•The clients have the logistic capacity and enthusiasm to support the financial
needs of their DREAM WEDDING.
SWOT ANALYSIS

WEAKNESSES
•The Eventologist has to hire additional manpower to make sure that the wedding
plans are perfectly put into action.
•Due to distance to and from Sampaguita Gardens, a number of minutes have to
be sacrificed during the pre-ceremony pictorial at Sampaguita Gardens and the
post-ceremony pictorial at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.
•Possible delay in the program due to distance of the ceremony and reception
venues.
•Possible delay to fix vehicle malfunction, e.g., bridal car, entourage and guests’
vehicles.
•A few number of guests will possibly just witness the ceremony in Kalibo but will
not go to the reception because of lack of ready transportation.
SWOT ANALYSIS

THREATS
•Possible delay of arrivals of wedding suppliers from Manila.

•Uncooperative weather.

•Those who RSVPed did not come.

•Those who received an invitation (but did not RSVP) attended and even brought
along guests who were not counted by the couple.
SWOT ANALYSIS

OPPORTUNITIES
•The DREAM WEDDING will give another opportunity to the Eventologist and his
staff to showcase their ability to translate a well-planned event into a could be
WEDDING-OF-THE-YEAR.
•The DREAM WEDDING event could be hyped and publicized on social and mass
media, thus, it will create a buzz for the company.
•It is the opportune time to make an impression to would-be clients and on-going
clients of the company.

CATHEDRAL OF ST. JOHN
THE BAPTIST
The structure of ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHEDRAL, also known as KALIBO
CATHEDRAL, was originally constructed in 1804 by the Augustinians after
moving from its old location in Barrio Laguinbanwa in Numancia. The
cathedral's walls are now made of newer bricks. Although you can see that
there are remnants of the old bricks in some parts of the church.

Kalibo may be popularly known for its Ati-Atihan Festival, which is celebrated
in honor of Santo Niño every third Sunday of January. But it is actually St.
John the Baptist, with a feast day every 24th of June, who is the principal
patron of the Diocese. Gold, which symbolizes rejoicing and purity of soul, is
the theme color of this cathedral. The altar and even the lecterns are laid in
gold. Stained glass windows depicting images of the Passion of the Cross can
be seen on each side of the church. The Cathedral has a dome soaring above
the altar -- unfortunately it's quite a challenge to capture it in a photo when
you're standing at street level. It is easy to find St. John the Baptist Cathedral
in Kalibo. Tricycle drivers would gladly take you here. The town plaza,
Pastrana Park, lies directly across the Cathedral's main door, and the
provincial museum, Museo it Akean, is across the road running along the
church's right side.
