POINTERS FOR THE PRESENTATION
There are 4 parts that must be discussed in your presentation. They are:
1. The history of the machine

In this part, you have to share the information about the history of the machine back in
the first years of the invention. In explaining the history of the machine you need to use The
Simple Past tense. Complete this part with pictures of the earlier forms of the machine, if any.

2. The function of the machine

In this part, you must explain the main functions of the machine. In explaining this part
you can use one of the three patterns or all the patterns of sentences to tell the function. Read
unit TELLING FUNCTION. You also need to put the real pictures of the machine.
3. The parts and the function

For this part, you go more details on the machine. Take picture of each part of the
machine and explain the function using the three patterns of sentences in TELLING
FUNCTION. Use the patterns in turns.
4. How the machine works

In this last part, you have to explain the steps in using the machine. In telling the steps
you can use IMPERATIVE SENTENCES or PASSIVE VOICE.
P.S.

1. If you want to add part in the presentation for example The equipment that people use when
use the machine or other information about what industries that use the machine, you are
permitted to do that.

2. You can add, but you cannot eliminate the four parts that have been explained before.

3. If it is possible the pictures of the machine that you take is the real pictures of the machine
that we have in Bengkel Mekanik.
