Texas STaR Chart?
 The Texas STaR Chart is designed to help teachers,
campuses, and districts determine their progress
toward meeting the goals of the Long-Range Plan
for Technology.
 There are four key area STaR classifications:
 Early Tech
 Developing Tech
 Advanced Tech
 Target Tech

The Texas Teacher STaR Chart is developed
around the four key areas of the Long-Range
Plan for Technology, 2006-2020. The four key
areas are:

Summary/Conclusion
 We are showing growth in most of the key
areas on the STaR Chart. Educator Preparation
and Development has gone from a 14 to a 9 in
the last three years. We as a campus should
self-assess and make sure we are getting the
help we need in order to become and teach 21st
Century learners.
