INTRODUCTION

 Hark is the leading dedicated toy and baby products &


Consumer products retailer, offering a differentiated shopping
experience through its family of brands. Hark to maintain a
prosperous, productive Bangladesh that is committed to
consumer safety and protection of natural resources.
 This report tailored to focus on the marketing & promotional
strategies of HARK group that is performing to retain market
share and uphold their Consistence Growth. As Marketing
Background, I have enough interest in that area that’s the main
reason behind this I choose the marketing & promotional
strategies of HARK group and try to relate with my passionate
area.
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

 Broad Objective:

 The General objective of this study is to know the


marketing & promotional strategies of HARK group.

COMPANY PROFILE

Hark is an exciting start-up company that has developed a line of


educational tools for children that are fun and engaging.
 
Hark group started its journey as a house of trading business but now
engaged in manufacturing of consumers commodities & children
commodities, since 2015 and has been consider today as one of the
biggest conglomerates with substantial of its backward linkage of all
kinds of consumer goods as like Toys, Electrical Equipment,
securities commodities, construction tools & Students item of goods
and Children goods. It has the state of art vertically integrated
consumer goods manufacturing facility which ensures one stop
service to the consumers and children. I had the opportunity to work
in their Toy sector which is called “Kabir Toy Garden”

 To identify the market segmentation of HARK group:-
 Market segmentation is the activity of dividing a broad consumer or
business market, normally consisting of existing and potential
customers, into sub-groups of consumers based on some type of shared
characteristics.
 HARK Group stared their journey from 1999. But, Kabir Toy Garden
started from 2016 at Uttara. So, as a City based marketplace Kabir Toy
Garden segments their market all over the Dhaka city. Recently they
are going to be Expand their Service Market nationwide.in January 10,
2020
 Chittagong, Sylhet, Bogora, Narayangonj operation will be start soon.
 
FINDINGS OF THE STUDY

 HARK group follows the latest marketing strategy, which will


provide satisfaction for the valuable customer and it is the
demand for the time.
 HARK group have online marketing policy through which
customer can get easy access about the HARK group services.
 Manpower in the Marketing & Sales Department for
providing services to the existing and target customer.
 Marketing strategy of HARK group is fantastic.

 Marketing and promotion policy is not up to the mark for the


present time though they are working in it.
 Visualization of marketing team for their Target audience is
very effective.
RECOMMENDATIONS

 HARK group should implement the best product providing


strategy that will ensure more value for the existing and target
customers.
 HARK group should implement internet marketing more though
they have then the existing client and potential client will be
benefited with the system.
 Marketing and Sales Department should run their activities in
the most efficient and effective way. For ensuring better service,
HARK group should recruit more people in this department.
 HARK group can convey greetings to their present and
potentials clients in different occasions. It will create an extra
value for the clients and make them more pleased and positive
toward the company
INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE
 During my internship, I was appointed as an Intern of Strategic Planning Team in
Digital Marketing Department at HARK group.
 My work in HARK group was to plan, visualize & explaining content for the digital
marketing department.
 HARK helped me to grab the Corporate Culture that how to act as an employee.
 During my work in the Sales department I had to work with the SR or sometimes had
to go with the distributor to enhance the Sales activity.
 The office environment was very friendly, and the employees were very cooperative. I
built a close relation with them during the tenor of my internship.
 Most Important things that I experience from HARK that there is no discrimination
among Employees even the MANAGER worked besides me.
 I learned from HARK group that how to Communicate with customers handsomely.
LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY

The report has been prepared from the feedback and information provided by the
Market Operation Division and also the learning‘s throughout these 3 long months
of internship program. The information about this division can only be shared
among very few other divisions and employees in HARK Group itself. The
information‘s cannot be disclosed to the external world. Though the report would be
helpful to HARK Group a lot, but the information‘s were confidential enough to
disclose to the external world. Another problem was time constraint. Though it was
a 3 months program, but the activities of this division is so vast that 3 months
program would not be enough to get the full idea about all the activities of this
division. This period of time is not enough for a complete and clear study. Although
there were many limitations I tried to give best effort to furnish the report.
