My Home Composting

The first thing I did is, I looked some discarded pail for my
compost bin and I used Boysen pail and then after that I drill it to
have a small hole.
I put the dry stem of guava and the I cut it into small pieces as a
bedding of my compost then I put dried leaves for the first layer.
March 18, I collect the Biodegradable waste of
my neighbor, I put the scraps of vegetables,
fruits, leaves falling down from tree and the
malunggay stalk.
Next step is Keep Moist: As
wet as a wrung out sponge.
I used carton for the next layer, I cut it
into small pieces and I put to the top of
scraps skin of vegetables, fruits and
leaves.

WEEK 2
After I expose the egg to sun for
how many hours, I put it on my
compost bin.
The day after, I cooked chopseuy and
puso ng saging for our lunch, so the skin
and the scraps of vegetables are put in my
compost bin.
Next step is Keep Moist: As
wet as a wrung out sponge.
March 30, I put the skin of roasted peanut as
brown layer for my compost bin.
March 31, I’m bored so I decided to cut the
dry leaves in my plants, for the next layer in
my compost bin.
Yesterday April 2, I cooked sopas for our merienda,
so the stalk of carrots and some scraps of cabbage,
skin of oninons and garlic, I put it on my compost
bin.
