Rose Stitches

Objectives:
 Identify different kinds of stitches.
 Demonstrate how to hand
stitching using different kinds of
stitches.
 Influence others to learn stitching
involving different kinds of
ROSE
STITCHES
Materials Needed:
Cloth
Sewing kit
Scissor
Pencil
Procedure: Rose
Stitches
- Prepare the materials needed for
the hand sewing.
- Make a pattern for your design
stitches.
- I used a black thread to outline
the pattern design.
- The stitches that I’ve used is the
back stitch.
Procedure: Rose

- After finishing the back stitch for
the outline, I used different kinds of
thread colors for the petals.
- The colors of the big petals that I
choose are white with violet and sky
blue and for the middle is whole red.
While the small leaves are white
with dark blue, red mixed with
yellow-green color. Lastly, the stems
are light green.
Procedure: Rose
Stitches
- For the petals, the stitches that
I’ve used are the blanket stitch
and French knots. While for the
stems I used chain stitch and
zigzag stitch.
After you finished all the hand
stitching, you can share what
you have learn to others.
