• Includes activities which ensure that goals are consistently being met

do the best job possible
Develop the Obscure

• Your ability to communicate with your staff and athletes

will matter far more than any other part of this job.
• Your program will only be as good as the people (athletes) it
creates
• It will enhance your credibility almost immediately
• Having support will always allow you to do your job to the
best of your ability

• Build relationships with coaches at every level from Freshman to
Varsity Level
• They will become your allies when it comes to things like effort and
attendance
• You will need them throughout your time there, whether it is in the
weight room or out on the field
• Don’t forget about people outside of athletics

Strength Program
• Start with teaching the
basic lifts
• Progress the basic lifts
• Love the BASIC LIFTS!
Speed Program

Heavily based on Plyometrics

Time and space dictates our sprinting and agility work
Conditioning is left mostly to the coaching staffs but will be added as
needed
Our Program
• Pre-Season- Almost all of our
athletes are in a preseason
phase at multiple points
throughout the year
• In-Season- For most of our
big team sports we have
time to work 2x per week
• Off-Season- Very few of our
athletes are 1 sport athletes
thus the main portion of off-
season training comes over
the summer
Programming
