TRAINING MEDIA

Training Media is a specialized form of


communication training for interacting with media. The goal
of training media is to assist and prepare you for your role in
representing your company or organization. You'll learn how
to predict questions, avoid common traps, and focus on
delivering your key messages.
There are 3 Types of Training Media.
The Computer-Based Training Programs,
the Web-Based Training System and
the Distance Learning.
First is the computer-based training program. Today’s competitive business
environment requires more knowledge and skill from employees than ever
before. This translates into more training for more employees than ever before.
At the same time, business success requires companies to lower costs, so
companies are looking for ways to provide low-cost training to their
employees. It uses only computers to transmit message or training guides to
the person. It can only be used by an application or software that does not
require data connectivity. The application or software is provided by the
company or school that is systematically programmed and provides learning
and training experience for you. It is more flexible and more easy to use since
all of what you need is already in the software or application. Although its
disadvantages is having no human interaction since you are only using a
computer. And follow-up questions regarding a problem or in the application is
very frequent.
Then there is the web-based training program. It also
uses computer or mobile phones although it requires
access to the internet using a web browser.
Individualized instructions can be applied since the
message or training materials can be transmitted and
viewed in seconds and also it is more convenient. It
also gives the company to train and provide learning or
training materials at any time. It gives the company the
ease of upgrading and customize training and learning
constantly in any parts of the globe at any time.
Lastly, the distance learning. The application of technology of
electronic means to educate in all areas of learning.
Education and company trainings can be transmitted through
satellite video, one-way and two-way video, audio
teleconferencing, video broadcast, audio-graphic, internet or
other electronic means. This means that information are
transmitted from one person either one way or both ways
using audio and graphics like videos. Data connection is
commonly used in this kind of media. Can be delivered in
real-time or can be delayed but in this situation of pandemic
especially in schools, real-time is usually applied.
DEVELOPMENT’S FUNCTION IN HUMAN
RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
The goal of development program is making an
employee perform better each day. It is very
important in having a job.
The company or organizations helps and assists its
employees in achieving and to excel in their
career.
