RULES AND REGULATION
Semifinal and Final Rules
1. Participants are high school students or equivalent from all over Indonesia
2. This competition will be held through Zoom Meeting in Semifinal and Final
Round. 
3. After being officially announced, participants who pass the next round will be
given a link by the committee to  join a Line Group, thus having the Line App
is a must. Any information will be  announced there. 
4. Participants must rename their zoom display  name with the format given by
the committee via LINE group. (Participants will not  be admitted to the
meeting unless they use the format). 
5. All participants must turn on their cameras and mute their microphones
during the  zoom meeting session, unless being permitted by the committee.

6. Participants are highly recommended to find a conducive place (to avoid


unintended  noise) with stable internet connection (to avoid lagging) and another
source of internet  connection to anticipate sudden blackouts 

7. Regarding technical issues such as lagging or being disconnected from the Zoom
 Meeting; a participant must contact the committee to inform the problem.
Committee  will only give a participant 3 minutes to reconnect and resume their
performance.  In case within that 3 minutes the participant is unable to reconnect,
the participant will  be considered to have completed his/her performance.

11. 8. Performance rules: 
a) No more than one camera angle use  
a) Upper half of body parts must be visible, especially participant’s facial  expression 
b) Participants can explore the stage (their own surroundings) but they need to  make
sure the voice is still audible. It is suggested to stay close to the  microphone 
c) None of the participants are allowed to read any story from text or keynote while
 delivering the story .
d) Participants may use any of the equipment that follows their story (props and
 costumes).

e. Participants’ equipment may not consist of any harmful material or sharp  objects. 
f. Participant’s costume must not violate society’s norm 
g. Participant is not allowed to act or make stories containing sexual appeal and
 discrimination toward specific group such as gender identity, religion, ethnicity,
 and etc. 
h. In the live performance, participant(s) will be disqualified if he/she doesn’t  show
up after being called to stage 3 times without any reasonable permission.
Reasonable permission means participant is in emergency condition such as
 illness

i. Participants are allowed to check their voice and connection stability before  their
performance starts  
j. 30 seconds will be given as a tolerance time-right to conclude their story. After  the
tolerance time, any overtime will be considered to deduct the score
9. Each rule must be obeyed, disqualification may be applied to any participant who 
violated these rules
10. Any change to this rule and regulation will be informed by the committee

Scoring
A. Several aspects which will be essential keys for scoring:
a. Matter: Plot
b. Manner:
i. Performance:
1. Mapping
2. Eye contact
3. Characterization (voice, gesture, and expression)
ii. Properties (costumes are optional)

c. Method: volume, pronunciation, and grammar


B. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence pertaining to the judging process will
be reconsidered.
