INTRODUCTION AND
BACKGROUND
 Electro Polymers Private Limited was established in
1984
 Manufacture, assemble and supply automotive lamps
to the Automotive OEM’s Sector in Pakistan
 Capability to produce lamps with exceptional and
absolute technology.
 Technically collaborated with Thai Stanley Electric
in 1993
 The preferred brand of OEMS in Pakistan
Manufacturing of lightings including Molding, Metalizing, Coating and
Assembly Process.

 Electro Polymers faced various problems in
fields such as;
 Management, production, material planning,
finance, and alternative multiple areas of a
PRIOR corporation.
 Huge time required in working with Excel.
IMPLEMENTAT  Shortages and surplus of materials.
ION SCENARIO  Unorganized payment structure.
 Massive hiring of employees in the
Organization.
 Communication gaps.
 To play out the business practices in the better way.
 EPL need to implement ERP since its beginning to do
business exercises and operations effectively.
 Relies upon legacy structures and diverse legacy
framework by far most of which are not totally
computerized.

 Need to grow their capability and stay on the ball.

 EPL picked SAP keeping in view the requirements of the
functionaries and business structures.
 EPL considered unmistakable methods 'As-is' and 'To-Be'
techniques and evaluated to ERP programming choice as
expected to prerequisites.
 To implement the SAP and make sure the compatibility of SAP
with our organizational operations and requirements.
 To follow the Just in time concept to deliver the material to
supplier so the ERP system should be compatible with this
concept.

time after the system adaptation.
 The organization haven’t faced any huge cons and
disadvantages.
 EPL is trying to add more modules like appraisal,
recruitment process, and time tracking etc.
 To provide quality products to customers and solution
to their problem and such modules ensures the value
being provided to the customer.
RECOMMENDATIONS
 Installation of SAP maintenance module because of high frequency
maintenance of machines.
 Installation of WMS module of SAP to automate support in
processing all goods movement and managing stock.
 Integrate the ERP system with vendors to ease the flow of
information.
 Release strategy for PO to be created so that the physical signing
process to be eliminated.
 SAP issue after implementation must be discussed with the
consultant to avoid any discrepancy.
 Identify gaps and eliminate them.
 Include other departments that aren’t yet part of the software.
 Reduce its paperwork and shifts towards more software use so that
it can lead to effectiveness.
