• Definition of product: Anything offered to a
market for attention, acquisition, use, or
consumption that might satisfy a need or
want. (e.g. mobile phone, mp3 player)
• Definition of services: Any activity or benefit
that one party can offer to another that is
essentially intangible and does not result in
ownership of anything. (e.g haircut, surgery)

• Product : Supplies DVD drives, Computer
peripherals, Hard disks
• Services: Provides Product support to
customers e.g. product recommendation,
warranty, IT consultation.

• Services: Massages, facials, body reflexology,
healing stones, manicures, pedicures.

Responsibilities IT
• Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards
achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal
time and productivity.
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and
ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service,
business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
• Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant
information held in these systems.
• Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and
information.
• Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
• Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to
facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
• Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.

customer and regional and head office.
