Ambiente's attendance policy sets standards for punctuality and absences. It requires employees to notify the company in advance of planned absences and by 9 AM for unexpected absences. Absences are either excused if approved in advance or unexcused if notification is not properly given. Tardiness counts as half an occurrence and excessive absences or tardiness can lead to disciplinary action, including possible termination. The policy provides guidelines for communicating absences and details the progressive disciplinary process for attendance issues.
