the different aspects, economic, cultural and social
cultural and customs of contribution towards the
the different places of the country. Because even though
planet. we are going through an
economic crisis they are still
visited quite regularly and
these sites are in place
HISTORY
Tourism is as old as man and born with himself. When we studied the origin of
our race in primary school, we talked about nomadic Indians and sedentary
Indians; We were unconsciously talking about tourists and tourism recipients.

For many centuries tourists moved a short distance from the city and it was in
the eighteenth century when wealthy British families sent their children to the
"great tour" around Europe for two or three years to expand the studies of their
peers.
HISTORY OR ORIGIN OF TOURISM IN
VENEZUELA
Tourism in Venezuela has been developed and evolved considerably in recent years,
especially enhanced by its favorable geographical location, which makes this country has a
variety of landscapes, flora and fauna difficult to find else where.
By 1909, the beginning of tourism in Venezuela starts

Commercial flights in Venezuela begin in

1932, which is why during 1935 and 1936
recreational and recreational activities by
several travel agents began to be exploited, the
first being the owners of the “Boulton Club of
Venezuela”.
WHAT IS TOURISM ?
The concept of tourism has been seen from different
points of view, which means that there are different
concepts of what it is. After reviewing different concepts, I
came to this.
The activities carried out by people
during their trips and stays in places
other than their usual environment for a
period of time less than one year for
leisure, business or other purposes.
TYPES OF TOURISM
* Sun and beach tourism (traditional) * Meetings Tourism

* LGBT Tourism * Nature Tourism

* Health Tourism * Cultural Tourism

IMPORTANCE OF THE TOURISM

One of the most important economic and cultural activities that a

country has today is tourism, which is also called “chimneyless industry”

because it generates a fairly important economic impact without ecological

disasters or negative environmental impacts.

TOURISM TODAY

Venezuela is a country that offers the world a multiple range of landscapes,

with beaches, jungles, mountains, deserts, badlands and plains, however, these
benefits were not enough for the tourism sector to be affected by the serious
economic crisis that crosses the country.
The national market has been most affected in 2018
because occupancy rates have fallen between 40% and
60%.
CONCLUSION

Tourism has never been the largest

income system because Venezuelans
focus on exploiting other resources and
do not pay enough attention to what
are tourist areas and the beautiful
natural parks that the country
possesses, among other things.

If this development in tourist area

continues to take place, probably in a
few years a good part of the
Venezuelan economy can be influenced
by this activity.
