the eighteenth century when wealthy British families sent their children to the
"great tour" around Europe for two or three years to expand the studies of their
peers.

Tourism in Venezuela has been developed and evolved considerably in recent years,
especially enhanced by its favorable geographical location, which makes this country has a

One of the most important economic and cultural activities that a

country has today is tourism, which is also called “chimneyless industry”

because it generates a fairly important economic impact without ecological

disasters or negative environmental impacts.

Venezuela is a country that offers the world a multiple range of landscapes,

with beaches, jungles, mountains, deserts, badlands and plains, however, these
benefits were not enough for the tourism sector to be affected by the serious
economic crisis that crosses the country.
The national market has been most affected in 2018
because occupancy rates have fallen between 40% and
60%.
 CONCLUSION

Tourism has never been the largest

income system because Venezuelans
focus on exploiting other resources and
do not pay enough attention to what
are tourist areas and the beautiful
natural parks that the country
possesses, among other things.

If this development in tourist area

continues to take place, probably in a
few years a good part of the
Venezuelan economy can be influenced
by this activity.
