My Water Balance App

How the MWB works

The app is called “My Water Balance”, it calculates how much water you should be

consuming on a daily basis based on your height, weight, and gender. It sends a

notification every two hours to remind you to drink water. It also calculates the

water in other drinks such as coffee, tea or even sodas. You can link your MWB to

your smartwatch and are able to add water directly from there. You can also add

friends on the app and compete to see who is drinking the most water. MWB will

reward with achievements after completing task.

How MWB benefited me

In the few weeks I used the My Water Balance app, I was able to develop a new

healthy habit of drinking my targeted water intake. Before using the app I would

barely drink any water throughout the day, after using it I can’t survive the day

without my water bottle nearby. I also noticed that after I started drinking water

regularly I started to slim down a bit, was flushing the toxins out of my body and

snacking less.
Accessibility of the app
The app is extremely easy to use.
You are able to add common water
amounts or even add custom
amounts. One thing that makes the
app extremely easy to use is the

My honest review on the app
I really did like the app. I helped me improve my health
and my water drinking habits. My first few weeks of use
were very exciting because I was earning rewards and
competing with friends. After using it for a few weeks I
was annoyed by the all the notifications. I felt as if the
habit of drinking water was already ingrained into my
daily routine and that the notifications every 2 hours
was unnecessary. I do feel like it is a good app to help
with building good habits but long term it isn’t beneficial.
