Orientation Workhop
on
 Background

• OK sa DepEd was launched by Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones last

Dec 6-9, 2018 during the National Conference of DepEd Health
Personnel in Clark, Pampanga.

• The program intends to provide health and nutrition services to

learners to allow them to attain their full educational potential and to
DepEd personnel for better productivity.
 Background

• OK sa DepEd is a convergence of programs where health plans,

policies, programs, and activities are implemented which will focus on
DepEd’s major school health programs such as the SBFP, NDEP, ARH,
WinS, and Medical, Dental, and Nursing Services.

• The Consultative Conference and Writeshop on the policy was

conducted last April 25-28, 2018 at the Lewis Grand Hotel, Angeles
City
 Objectives
As part of the continuing preparatory activities for OK sa DepEd, this
activity aims to plan for the roll-out of the program

Specifically, the activity aims to:

• Present and discuss the final draft of the policy and various forms;
• Plan the targets and school-based activities;
• Prepare Regional and Division Action Plans.
