Fernando Botero graduated in 1950
at the high school of the University of
Antioquia
 His first masterpiece, landscapes and
scenes depicting local customs were made
with a very loose brushstroke, which would
be packing progressively,

The style of Botero, fully figurative, is


characterized by the representation of
people and animals always as corpulent
figures, even clearly obese.
